Man I can't even see my hands to play the game in the first place, granted I am using a relatively old headset (HTC VIVE Cosmos) but It was working just fine the last time I played the game in VR with the cosmos - All my other games seem to be working aswell except Phasmophobia. Oh and I HATE the new run binding, it's way worse than it was before. The grip strength is definitely way too high and I keep dropping things around. So you cant guess the ghost or leave the match. While dead you can no longer use the journal. Its even possible to be stuck in a repeating fall which makes using the journal to leave impossible. If you accidently go out of bounds you will no longer be teleported to a "safe" location but can instead end up in places where you can no longer reach the truck or be killed by the ghost. Using cursed item MIRROR in VR will drain all your sanity and cause a cursed hunt as you cant stop using it, even dropping it doesnt work. For the most part this only means you need to double tap before picking up a item but cursed items will very often teleport out of bounds. Playing in multiplayer still causes the initial lag glitch first time you interact with a item. (im using Quest 2 through virtual desktop, wifi 6 wireless)Ī multitude of items arent held in the proper direction, most notable dots projector which you have to flip over to mount. It's no longer each arm reaching around the corresponding side of my face. *edit* I also want to add that when I am killed by the spirit, I only see the right arm reaching around now. I even had a spirit go hunting on my screen while it was not hunting on the PC players screen. And when they looked at my temp gun, they were seeing temps above 10C while I was seeing -2. I would find a sub 0C room have my EMF meter blasting off and they saw nothing. I just got done playing and every group I played with was not getting the same readings I was. ![]() Last, the things my thermometer and EMF reader would show was not the same as the PC players in several servers. (your hand spins away from you, in the direction as if someone else was holding the item). Third, many things turn backwards when picking them up. All of the custom controller bindings are gone, as well. I am a 6'3 200lb male and my hands got tired trying to hold onto items and kept dropping them due to how high you have the controller grip strength set. You're going to cause Index controller owners to break the grip pads. ![]() Second, the grip strength on the Index controllers is far too high. Tried it with Vive pro 2, Index, and Quest 2. First, the seated mode causes the ring to be up near your face. ![]()
